about

Taking It To Heart is a compilation album comprised of amazing bands that have very generously donated previously unreleased songs, many recorded specifically for the project. 100% of net proceeds from the sale of these albums will be donated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

released October 13, 2017

The vinyl pressing of Volume 2 will be in a hand-numbered edition of 300. The LP will be pressed onto 180 gram vinyl, clear vinyl with blood red splatter.

The Taking It To Heart project was curated by Ryan Montemurro.

The songs were mastered by Noah Mintz at Lacquer Channel Mastering (Toronto, Ontario).

The LPs were pressed at Microforum Vinyl Record Pressing (Toronto, Ontario).

The album will come packaged in a letter-pressed, "matchbook"-style jacket. Design and printing by Jeff Mueller (of Rodan, June of 44 and Shipping News fame) of Dexterity Press (New Haven, Connecticut).

When shipped, the LP itself will be shipped outside of the jacket in a plain white inner sleeve to protect the inner sleeve stapled into the jacket. You can discard the plain white inner sleeve and place the LP into the attached inner sleeve once you receive it.
